  • Collaborated with the business team and multiple internal stakeholders to understand the requirements, and utilized various elicitation techniques (interviews, workshops, document analysis) to gather and refine requirements.
  • Conduct a meeting with the SME and business team to document the regulatory and complex requirements.
  • Conduct a gap analysis to ensure other applications and systems are not impacted, and align with business process standards. Requirement elicitation and create BRD, SRS documentation in confluence.

  • · Coordinated with the application SMEs to build a new automation tool called Global billing Template (GBT tool). This tool was used to reconcile with the existing tax invoices, sending the invoices to the clients after sign-off. This significantly reduced the manual time and effort required, as well as the number of issues for the end users.

Project: Visa Re-Engineering

As part of this project, the performance and architectural design of the Visa system were analyzed. Analysis reports were shared with clients. The process to change the base rule engine and optimize the process was documented.

Tasks:

  • Captured the requirements from the business to understand the needs, and created BRD artifacts. Identified stakeholders' involvement by using simple meeting requirement analysis techniques, and started the requirement elicitation process. Communicated with BPM tool engineering team and the new rule engine was built in coordination with them.
  • Created the use cases diagram and system requirement specification document with system shall statements. Identified the stakeholders and engaging them by submitting their project intakes forms in Service now tool.
  • Conducted multiple demo sessions with the Client Product Director, Client Tech Director, and Client VP for the presentation of the suggestive TO-BE platform, estimation, and sizing. Figured out the statistics of non-functional requirements (NFR), such as unused business rules in the programs, which count toward unnecessary costs in coordination with the SMEs.
  • Preparing the documentation for the modernization of the legacy application and moving the core modules to a rule-based engine in the BPM tool. Extracted and documented the rules from the core modules (legacy) application, driving the system in coordination with the SMEs.
  • Helped the business team to make changes to the rules as needed. Once updated, the batch process picked up the changes and updated all the databases overnight. In this way the overall project cost was reduced by this automated process.

Project: The project involved maintenance and enhancements to American Express rewards Connect system. The varied functions related to Reward points are Enrolments (New account acquisition), Maintenance (Demographics changes, Credit limit increase, product transfers etc.), Billings (Transaction posting and statement generation) and Status change (like cancelation, inactive, lost or stolen) of the Card members.

  • Understanding the pain point of the client, capturing the requirements, performing analysis, and starting requirement elicitation. Documenting the BRD, FRS, SRS, report requirement artifacts, message notification artifacts, print specification artifacts, system-to-system integration artifacts, etc.
  • Identifying areas to automate the processes so as to reduce effort and cost. One of the initiatives include identifying the rebound mail status of the card members (due to incorrect address on the records) and avoid retrying mechanism. The same customers were informed through secure messages and phone channels. This resulted in cost saving for the client.
  • Create a Service Catalogue task if the business wants to modify some more value to the existing model. And I supported the requirement gathering for the new project. Create an incident ticket if the application is impacting the business.
  • Explained requirements to the designers to prepare the solution design documents, clarified requirements to the development team, and was involved in implementation activities to make sure the right solution has been delivered as per the requirements.
  • Conducted several meetings to track the project status, and assisted the Team Leader in prioritizing tasks. Act as a bridge between development team and Business.
