• Clean and prepare workstation and machines.
• Assemble and test components and ensure adherence to specified requirements, soldering experience is an assets. Perform simple electrical and continuity testing of electronic components, parts and systems Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies.
• Check final assembly for finish, labelling and packaging methods Start monitor, stop, and adjust soldering machines for production lines.
• Adjusts controls of soldering machines to regulate the operating speed, heat temperature and length of flux.
• Read production schedules plus operations manuals and receives verbal instructions regarding sequential start-up operation of soldering machine or system.
• Perform preventive maintenance on soldering machines, using hand tools.
• Load work pieces into soldering machines to join components Melts and separates soldered joints to repair misaligned or damaged assemblies, using soldering equipment.
• Production reporting (Excel/Production system (Navision) and Ensure profitable business operations.
• Understand deadlines and work under the supervision of Production Supervisor/ Lead Hand to perform and complete tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
• Contribute to waste reduction and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures and related Ministry of Labour laws.
• Ensure that final products meet high quality standards.
• Complete other tasks as required and/or directed by management.
