Accomplishments

  • Eliminated failures and improved efficiency by switching from Condenser water to Chilled water on Water For Injection (WFI) Still condenser
  • Eliminated failures on a pre- and reheat Heat Exchanger by installing a steam regulator to regulate 100 psi to 30 psi, protecting the plates from constant failures due to high steam pressure.
  • Managed the replacement of 200 feet of process chilled water piping in the fermentation suite, which resulted in improved fermenter performance and eliminated constant downtime. The success led to the implementation of the project across the site following management's recognition of its success.
