- Set-up and operated CNC milling (3 axis and 4 axis VMC and HMC) and CNC lathes (live tooling, y-axis and c axis) to produce precision components per engineering specifications.
- Read and interpreted blueprints, GD&T symbols, and work instructions to ensure accuracy.
- Adjusted machine parameters, tool offsets and performed basic- G codes edit to maintain optimal machining operations.
- Assisted my journeyman in machining of new fixtures for new parts and assembly components. Made feed, speed, and depth of cut changes in the program accordingly.
- Assisted in troubleshooting tool wear, chatter, and tolerance issue to improve cycle times and reduce scrap.
- Trained other people for CNC operator and CNC setup operator roles.
