Roads:

2023 and 2024 Asphalt Resurfacing Program on Various Roads in the Region of Halton— Designer

• Preliminary and detailed design of eight road segments for a total of 9.93 km
• Included a combination of urban and rural sections
• Rural road section design included ditch design and culvert upgrades (driveway and road cross culvert)
• Urban road section design included upgrades to pedestrian and cyclist facilities with guidance from OTM Book 15 and Book 18 with special attention to AODA compliant facilities
• Recommendations for road safety upgrades including design of pavement markings, signage and guide rails with guidance from TAC 2017 Design Manual
• Coordinated with electrical subconsultant to develop street lighting and traffic signal design at various locations to ensure compliance with Regional standards
• Provided timely engineering support to resolve issues quickly during construction
• Ensured all permits were obtained before construction tender
• Worked closely with geotechnical subconsultant to determine asphalt compositions which were compliant with each road sections holding strategy

Pedestrian Signals at Town Square and Holy Cross Catholic School for the Town on Innisfil

• Provided design services for development of two pedestrian crossings in high traffic areas (Town Center and School Crossing)

Urbanization of Innis Lake Road for the Town of Caledon (ongoing)

• Providing design services for complete urbanization of 1.2km of Innis Lake Road including design of sidewalks, bicycle lanes, safer intersections, roadway geometrics, assistance with stormwater management design and assistance with roadway illumination design

Design of a 100m Long Back-up Water Transmission Main for the City of Belleville (Ongoing)

• Assisted in stakeholder coordination and ensuring stakeholder requirements were implemented into design during preliminary stage (proposed transmission main would be crossing under CPKC Rail Tracks)
• Prepared an evaluation of design alternatives for alignment of proposed transmission main and proposed the best solution to the City

• Worked as a Construction Coordinator for pursuit estimating team in the development of 2 multimillion-dollar RFP DEsign-Build Proposal submissions

• Developed estimates for asphalt, roadway infrastructure (guard rails, signage etc.), culverts and bridge concrete quantities
• Procured and reviewed quotes from subcontractors for various services (asphalt milling, dewatering, environmental monitoring etc.) while ensuring budget constraints and RFP scope of work requirements were being met
• Ensured design (drawings and specifications) provided by consultants was in accordance with provincial design standards (OPSS and OPSD)
