I also am apart of the squadrons pipe and drum band. Here I learn new skills every week while enjoying the learning process of practicing an instrument.

Seeing as I am often commanding a flight on parade, I find it essential to show up and refine my own drill on Monday drill nights. This also gives me the opportunity to help junior cadets with their own drill and observe as the drill team improves during the training year.

Throughout the nearly 4 years that I have spend in the squadron, I have always found time out of my week to attend and put my best effort forward and Junior and eventually Senior Ground School.

I helped train members of our squadrons 2024-2025 Biathlon Team. Putting in immense effort to improve my own physical condition as well as, the teams overall skill.

Similar to my work with the Biathlon Team earlier in the year, I helped to refine and instruct the marksmanship capabilities of the squadrons team members.

I have filled in the responsibility of the flight commander for Flight 1 numerous timed throughout the last 2 years.

Being able to speak confidently and effectively is essential for cadets and future career opportunities. I like to attend Effective Speaking lessons in order to increase my own confidence in my public speaking ability.
