Steven has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). These are lifelong neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions that can affect emotional regulation, social interactions, and impulse control.
  • As part of his disability, Steven may occasionally display behavior that can be misinterpreted in social or occupational settings, including difficulties with personal boundaries or physical space. Such behaviors are not intended to cause harm or discomfort but are rather symptoms of his neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions.
  • Specifically, I would like to clarify that any instance in which he may have inadvertently touched a coworker should be understood in the context of his disability. Steven continues to work on social awareness and boundary-setting in treatment, and we are actively addressing these challenges in therapy.
