• Participated in 2 Joint Commission Surveys. Inspecting and Documenting deficiencies to design and implement an Interim Life Safety Measure plan. Ensuring proper course of action for Naval Medical Center San Diego was operating within Joint Commission/Life Safety Code guidelines and standards.
• Worked closely with Facility Managers, Sub contractors to design infectious control plans to execute projects in a seamless and timely manner to minimize downtime on hospital patient flow/load.
• Planned, built and maintained daily checks on class 3/4 containment's negative air pressure to contain construction dust/debris from entering hospital system that contaminate patient treatment areas. Ensuring proper routes were taken to minimize any compromised patient interaction.
• Remove and Install new Frames, Door and Hardware. Re-framed walls. Installed new drywall. Automatic Door controls and operators.
• Supported design and troubleshooting in Automatic Door, Infant Monitoring, Delayed Egress systems.
• Performed routine maintenance on Manual Fire, Smoke and Corridor Doors. Automatic doors and knowing act automatic doors. Dock levelers and Overhead coiling roll up doors.
