Maintaining both sewage and storm water lift stations by removing blockages from pump impellers and check valves, oiling pump motors, pump and motor installations and removals, maintaining lift station generators, operating both VFD and PLC controls to operate lift stations, assemble necessary suction and discharge piping, operate and maintain air scrubbers, bio trickling facilities, and train new employees in lift station operations and maintenance. Responding to plant emergencies such as communication and power fails and or sewage spills.

Assisted Wastewater Treatment Mechanics by maintaining and preparing tools necessary fir each job task, cleaned tools and work area, used mig, tig and plasma cutter if needed to make parts, and metal bending. Performed vehicle walk around check each morning before work day.

Daily vehicle and tool inspection, completed work orders to clean sewer pipes throughout West LA using a Vactor, Mechanical Rodder, and handrodding by rmoving blockages such as roots and solid debris to allow continual sewer flow. Also had the privledge of running a crew.

Daily vehicle and tool inspections, used equipment to measure H2s, and V.O.C levels and various air scrubbers and bio trickling facilities. I operated air scrubbers and maintained by recording blower CFM and pressure changes, cleaned demister pads, alternated blower fans as needed, monitored all treatment, sewer, and stormwater plants from the Venice pumping plant and disbatch Treatment mechanics, electricians, or instrumentation workers as needed.

Operated and maintained LA County's sewer lift stations by recording daily functions of various lift stations, removed blockages from both pump impellers and check valves, cleaned wetwells, operated and maintained diesel generators at various lift stations, responded to emergencies and trained new employees.
