Responsibilities

• Network Operations & Maintenance: Oversees daily network performance, including voice, data, broadband, and cable TV infrastructure. They ensure 24/7 uptime and implement proactive maintenance to prevent outages.
• Team Leadership & Management: Supervises staff, including Network Services Supervisors, technicians, and engineers. They are responsible for training, mentoring, performance appraisals, and scheduling, ensuring high productivity.
• Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Prepares and monitors short- and long-range budgets. They evaluate new technologies (e.g., fiber, 5G) for expansion and improvements to enhance service delivery.
• Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution: Leads the response to major network disruptions, minimizing downtime. They manage the troubleshooting process and ensure rapid resolution of issues.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Manages relationships with vendors, negotiates service level agreements (SLAs), and ensures contract compliance.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensures all operations comply with industry standards, safety protocols (e.g., OSHA), and federal regulations regarding revenue and service.
