For easier packing, I consider a fishing pole that collapses into multiple sections. I also bring a fly fishing poles that can break down into even more compact sections and come with a travel tube. I dress warmly in cooler months and bring a light waterproof jacket. In the summer, I bring hats and sunblock. I also bring pre-cut meat and cheese spread on a paper towel, along with crackers, is easy to make while I am hiking.
