Coastal GasLink
I've worked on all three portions of section 8(West, Central, and East). I started there in May 2021 and have spent more then a year out on the project. This is the hardest and most technically designed pipeline to ever be built on Canadian soil and most stringent environmental standards in which I have dealt with first hand. From Geotechnical Engineering to steep slope construction, I've gained a lot of valuable experience that a select few have. I was offered Lead position on Central and filled in for spread 8E lead in August while he was on vacation.
Keyera KAPS
Towards the end of 2021 I was offered lead position on Spread3 and 4A. I started in December running 4 crews and up to 10 crews for the rest of the project organizing and distributing the workload as I saw fit. All together it was 82 KM with a 16" and 12" lines. Most crews were green but made a point of training everybody on how to complete every task that would be asked of them. I also would go out to the field and contribute everyday to make sure we were always on their heels.
Summary
I've been doing primarily pipeline construction for 6 years now. Lots of variety and have been through 7 builds. I've also done a lot of preliminary pipeline detail surveys so I understand a lot of the ins and outs of the builds.
