Installation of underground conveyor system and steel structures on a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off rotation. Task include

• Erecting conveyor systems consisting of incline conveyor's, apron feeder’s, fine ore bins and coarse ore bins and transfer stations
• Heavy lifting and rigging with use of carrier deck crane with minimal head room
• Operation and daily inspections of underground equipment such as boom trucks, scissor decks, back hoes, manitou’s and tele-handler’s. Also light underground vehicle’s such as Toyotas and mine cat's.
• Constructing pump station's, ventilation doors and assisting in form work, pouring concrete, shotcrete etc
• Common core certified

Piloting and reaming holes for ventilation and escape ways underground using rd-7 and rd-3 raise bore drills. Task include

• Set up and dismantle of raise bore drills to different sites
• Operation of drill piloting and reaming raises up to 5.5 meters in diameter and up to 500 meters deep
• Performing maintenance on drills and filling out daily reports
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and electrical components
• Use of tele-handler and bob cat

Apprentice Ironworker at west white rose project building a fixed drilling platform. Task include

• Erecting and dismantling of tower cranes up to 450 feet in height
• Signalling cranes using hand signals and radio communication
• Overseeing of rigging of various load’s
• Heavy rigging, Multiple crane and critical crane lifts

Installation and removal of telephone poles and anchors using heavy equipment. Task include

• Operation of excavator, backhoe and single axle dump truck
• Putting out construction signage on public roads and highways
• Flagging traffic when required
• Transportation of equipment on flat deck trailers to job sites

Was a member of a logistics crew that did all rigging/hoisting at the Muskrat falls hydroelectric generating station.
