• Worked on a locked unit - Memory Care ward
• Twelve hr shifts 1900 - 0700, H.S care & Am Care, Respite care, various lift equipment used during each shift
• Laundry personal and house laundry, Set tables and fill up all items for day shift
• Q15 CHECKS DONE THROUGH OUT NIGHT AND REPOSITIONING DONE ON RESPITE RESIDENTS
• SUNDOWNING ALSO SEEN THROUGH OUT SHIFT
• Lots of redirecting and managing behaviours
• Currently work two week rotation Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, ONE WEEK
• Wednesday, Thursday
• Second week
• 80.5 hrs a week
• TRAINED MANY NEW PSWS OVER THE FIVE YEARS
• Even not on my current floor
• Would work on the two other floors as well, If short staffed or just to help with lifts or changes etc
• Reports and behaviour tracking, answering phones after 5pm
• Showers and assisting care coming in as well.

Various clients, In home care respite, H.S care, AM care, Night shifts, Care giver relief, Dementia care, Wound care, Catheter care, repositioning, ADL, Physiotherapy, Starting of clients home accessments. Set up of the intake forms and folders, training of staff with harder clients, Feeding and nutrition, light household duties, Report and document any changes in clients care plans.
