I currently work part time in a fast paced environment at a very large restaurant. My average in sales is over $2,000. It is in a popular location for tourists and walking distance from the convention center so we get slammed intermittently which has allowed me to polish my speedy, friendly service, and time management skills.

Here I have also become very familiar with handheld point systems.

Because the first hired get moved up and I was at the bottom of the totem pole I decided to get back at being a Server and took another position elsewhere. I will say that I very much enjoyed the controlled chaos of hosting, taking numbers, seating guests, and taking to go orders that averaged $1,000 in sales but I needed to leave to move up within a company. I am so thankful for the opportunity to have worked for Yeng Enterprise. It is one big, strange family that I still visit on a regular basis.

I loved this job so very much and was so sad to see it close during the first week of Covid. I was a Lead Server for weekend brunch shifts and also a dinner Server who was put on private parties, special occasions, and worked happily and professionally with all other team members. It truly was a gem of a place to be a part of. Below I have listed some of the skills I have obtained working with the company.

• Worked with POS system to place orders, manage bills, and handle complimentary items.
• Cultivated warm relationships with regular customers.
• Maintained clean and organized dining areas to uphold restaurant hygiene standards.
