Summary

I am responding to the ad that I had noticed on-line for a part-time temporary employee for Sephora Chatham. (I also work out at Planet Fitness next store to your new location in Chatham-Kent (CK) so I was aware of your impending arrival!). Although my resume shows 34 years of nursing (I retired in September 2022), I have wonderful customer relations skills (having managed 30 employees and collaborated/partnered with several internal/ (to the Municipality of CK employees) and external local partners including our three largest school boards as well as all private schools within CK during the pandemic), Other areas of partnership have included the United Way of CK, AIDS Committee of CK. I have participated as a board member on the South West Ontario Epilepsy Committee, over seeing fundraising and involvement from Middlesex-London to Windsor Essex to bring awareness to epilepsy and provide education around same.

I have established conflict management and leadership skills and thrive in an environment where I can educate or provide the the best information possible to individuals.

Several years ago I had three years of retail customer service both in the shoe and clothing industries and I presently help on occasion a local business Gentry Manor, as I believe in their products and customer service.

You may wonder why a woman of my age would want to endeavour into a new challenge? I have enjoyed a full year of retirement, but I enjoy a challenge and I am looking for something I know I would enjoy and on a part time basis (temporary I understand), and what could be better then working in a retail location where I love the products that I use, and more importantly the friendliness of knowledge of the staff!

I thank. you for your time, and wish you all the best as you open this new location, Chatham-Kent is so excited to have you.
