Project : Residential Mortgage Recovery Application I worked in the mortgage banking division of Morgan Stanley that specializes in the servicing of residential mortgage loans. This System is to assist the mortgage division to recover money from defaulters. This system helps recovery department agents to interact with borrowers and analyze the reason for default, current financial status of the borrower etc., this system will help the agent to come up with recovery plan, to collect default amount from the borrower.

Responsibilities:

• Gathered information from key stakeholders to understand the goals of the project and the strategic objectives of the organization.
• Worked on multiple concurrent projects in an ongoing changing environment.
• Responsible for defining the Scope of the Project, gathering Business Requirements, involved in Gap analysis and document them.
• Participated in regular design and data integration meeting with the Client and front-end design partner.
• Regularly identified UI designs and usability problems and made suggestions for improvement.
• Identified and enforced e-commerce standards and best practices.
• Collected input from stakeholders and end users to determine detailed functional requirements for the e-commerce site.
• Facilitated Scrum ceremonies for multiple phases such as product backlog, sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily scrum stand-up call and scrum overview meetings.
• Collaborated with Scrum management teams to track KPI’s such as burndown and Velocity.

Project: Loan Management Insurance Application The two major projects I have worked on are Loan Management Insurance and Customer Administration Tool. Loan Management is a system where clients can create an application for a loan, check the status, and manage the loan Insurance. The second project was to create the customer administration tool to manage the users. The users can control their settings and manage their profile through this tool.

Responsibilities:

• Used JIRA tool to work in a fully agile environment.
• Asked all relevant open-ended questions to Product Owner to gather complete clear requirements and related information.
• Prepared lesson learned/ conducted retrospective meetings at the end of every sprint to discuss issues faced during the sprint and overcome them for future sprints.
• Assisted and supported Product Owner by writing User Stories with related Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done (DoD) and maintaining product backlog.
• Used UML and process diagrams such as Use Case and Flowchart to visually represent the process well and presented it to my scrum team for better understanding.
• Reviewed User stories with PO to check if they are complete and followed INVEST approach and ready to be taken into sprint as per the Definition of Ready (DOR)

Project: The scope of the project was to create middleware to reduce burden on Telus Telecom core services. Middleware was created to address customer queries who wanted to get new phone numbers through Telus Retail channel, Online channel, and Sales rep devices.

Project: The Web-based application called Risk Analysis and Control System (RACS) was created for internal use. The goal of this project was to design and develop a web-based user-friendly and efficient application that would provide internal users with a tool to conduct the credit risk assessment of potential customer and to reevaluate the credit risk involved with a current customer. The RACS application is integrated with Sales force CRM application and financial planning tool.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluated information gathered from variety of sources, resolved conflicting requirements, dissected high-level information into details and distinguished user requests from the underlying business needs.
• Stakeholder expectations were consistently managed, and project stakeholders were negotiated with to determine the most accurate and acceptable definition of scope, quality, and priorities.
• Throughout the project's lifecycle, I made sure that organizational standards and best practices for business analysis were followed.
• With the project team, I took part in design evaluations.
• Collaborated with IT team to translate business requirements into functional requirements, evaluate options and managed UAT process.
