This volunteering experience had taught me a lot. I was able to work on communication skills, with being surrounded by amazing people, especially on the food truck. Handing out food gave me a great experience, with being able to deal with all kinds of people. I also helped some of the other volunteers in the kitchen, to prepare food to hand out. I was not always needed at the salvation army, even when i wasn't i would show to help around a little. I'm a devoted hard worker who will get work done when asked to.
