Processed Prior Authorizations in a timely manner while also taking phone calls from physicians and pharmacies regarding patients medication. I also faxed approvals, denials or a need for additional information to proceed in the prior authorization process.

I filled medications for patient pickup and for delivery. I also filled bubble pack orders in monthly or weekly packs depending on the patients preference. I called and faxed providers if I needed any additional information to complete an order for a patient. I also kept up on daily treatment authorization requests for approvals.

I provided great customer service to customers picking up or dropping off prescriptions as well as phone calls with patients, physicians and insurance companies. I checked in and stocked the shelves when new medications arrived. I pulled medications from the shelves for the lead pharmacy technician with accuracy by checking and comparing the NDC. I also returned medications back to stock that were not picked up within a 14 day period.
