• Care for residents by changing bed linens, washing and ironing laundry, cleaning, or assisting with their personal care.
• Entertain, converse with, or read aloud to residents to keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Plan, purchase, prepare, or serve meals to residents or other family members, according to prescribed diets.
• Provide residents and families with emotional support and instruction in areas such as caring for infants, preparing healthy meals, living independently, or adapting to disability illness.
• Accompany residents to doctors' offices or on other trips outside the home, providing transportation, assistance, and companionship.

• Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory- taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers.
• Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
