- Responsible for enhancing single e-transfer payments for commercial customers

- Responsible for building internal APIs to enable Request for Pay functionality for Retail and commercial customers based on the APIs provided by Interac

- Worked with Tangerine bank team to enable processing the Receive e-transfer payments through Scotiabank Payment Hub (FTM) application

- Responsible to achieve Interac certification for Scotia single e-transfers send and receive payments, reconciliation and settlement, Tangerine receive payments before the products are implemented in production

- Currently working on Pay by Bank payment method for Retail banking customers using the APIs provided by Interac for processing the Account based payments

- Analyzing the various APIs for payment authorization, pre authorization, partial and final captures, refunds and reversals and internal processing for fraud analysis and posting the funds from customer account to settlement GL

- Working on identifying the possible discrepancies that can happen for account based payments and come up with Reconciliation and settlement reports that Operations settlement team can refer to while settling the funds between Scotia and merchant banks

- Responsible for supporting multiple business areas by

means of research, analysis, testing and documentation in the implementation of customer on-boarding, payment processing and reporting solutions for small business, corporate and commercial banking customers.

- Gather and analyze business requirements from internal customers, evaluate solution options and develop recommendations.

- Conduct Agile discovery sessions, story mapping and sizing of user stories, participate in sprint planning/reviews.

- Responsible for gathering the requirements for Single e-transfer and Bulk EMT payments , analyzing APIs provided by Interac, creating user stories and flow diagrams, acting as a liaison between Interac team and scotiabank internal project team, raising issues and defects identified while testing Interac APIs

- Responsible for coming up with Reconciliation and Settlement process and reports to identify the discrepancies between Interac and Scotiabank to enable smooth settlement of funds between Scotia and other banks

- Worked with UI designers to come up with payment UI screens, accessibility and analytic requirements

- Develop test strategies, test case design review, test data management and track defects to closure.

- Played a key role in the successful implementation of various payments like bulk email money transfer payments (interac), EFT, EDI, ACH, Wires in the Global Transaction Banking area using frontend web application Scotia connect and using various file formats like Excel, CSV, EDI820, XML, Flat file, NACHA

- Represented Global Transaction Banking team in the Remote Cheque Deposit (Cheque Image) initiative.

- Acted as a subject matter expert for requirements knowledge and clarification for several maintenance releases.

- Developed test strategy for migration of customers on Scotia Direct host systems to FTM (Financial Transaction Manager)

• Developed an ABAP Review tool in SAP for Astrazeneca project as per its standard guidelines. When the tool is run with a program name, it displays all the naming convention defects, syntax errors, performance related defects etc. in that program which saves a 60% program review time.
  
• Involved in debugging, trouble shooting and performance analysis by using runtime analysis and SQL trace. Analysed business department needs, providing workable solutions and developing systems, which will increase efficiency.
