Sinali Mahe

My name is Sinali Mahe, and I am 23 years old. I am of Tongan and Samoan descent. I am a quick learner and I have strong communication skills. I have the utmost respect towards one another. I am capable of lifting heavy objects as much as 300 pounds. I have been a licensed driver for 5 years. Although I prefer to be an independent worker, I can easily and greatly work side by side with a team. I graduated trade school to be an electrician and I have knowledge of how to read blueprints, conduit bend, light fixtures, wire motors etc. I also have experience of 3-4 months in roofing. Due to the fact two of my closest family members are journeymen, it led me to the idea of wanting to be an electrician. I take work ethic and time management seriously and I am never late to a jobsite. I want to expand my knowledge in the field to overcome harder challenges I haven't faced in trade school. I have also earned a certificate in finishing both semesters and passing the first exam with 90%. Earning my certificate has allowed me to apply for an ET card to ensure my hours could be accumulated. Although I've gone to trade school,they were sadly not CA certified so we didn't get our ET cards upon graduation. So they refunded us our full tuition back and I've been trying to further my career ever since. Due to the school's false advertisement, it has cost me a year of my time and no leads on an electrical pathway. Although everything didn't go to plan, I got free knowledge and used what I've learned in trade school on the field while working for Arena Staffing. I would be greatly satisfied by gaining more knowledge and time in places other than school even if it is an internship.
