Utilizing my knowledge as a welder while working within a quality control environment, with an emphasis on the power generation and gas & oil industry. Attaining my Welding Examiner, API 510/570 certification are goals that I want to achieve.

• Collaborating with a variety of levels of construction, including upper, lower supervision.
• Quality control planning for small & large TA (Making ITP's, Setting up work pack for QA review & approval, Prepare NDE request pre shut down, Working with document control for track all progress)
• Collaborating with Engineering (including client Engineering) for planning and execution of work
• Liaison between Client and Contractors
• Progressive turnover of QC documents for client review & approval
• Training of quality control personnel
• Selection of appropriate welding procedures
• Ensuring that applicable welding variables are being followed
• Working under minimal supervision
• Material receiving/control
• Requesting of applicable NDE
• Working within ASME Sec. I, IIIV, IX, B31.1, and B31.3
• Visual inspection of welds
• Weld mapping of piping, boiler systems and mechanical equipment
• Flange management for piping and mechanical equipment
• Coordination of sub-contractors: NDT providers, Heat treatment providers, Machining and cold cutting providers
• Pressure testing of equipment: Hydrostatic Testing, Leakage Testing, Localized Testing welds (hydro plugs)
