Fulfillment and Facilities Operations Supervisor

In this role, I lead a team of six. My objectives are to implement and streamline processes and workflows impacting our in-house Photography team, and our in-house Product Development team and running our Swatch Fulfillment program, servicing customers and Trade clients across the US and Canada.

  • Interface cross-functionally with many internal stakeholders on owning and executing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify quality issues regarding incoming furniture samples and ensure follow-up with impacted teams.
  • Build and manage a motivated team to consistently accomplish operational goals and exceed performance targets, while promoting team member growth and developmental goals.
  • Maintain accurate product inventory for use by the in-house Photography team and manage staging, set-up and tear down of on-site and on-location photo shoots.
  • Promote safety policies and practices among personnel, coaching appropriate handling and use of equipment and furniture products.
  • Run our Swatch Fulfillment program by maintaining and replenishing swatch inventory and supplies, ordering swatches directly from overseas vendors, mills and tanneries.

Anthill is a Vancouver based design and millwork studio, specializing in small space solutions. I collaborated closely with the owners to expand Anthill's range of modular furniture and to conceptualize and draft millwork solutions and interior spaces for clients.

  • Attended client meetings with the owners and use the design brief to conceptualize client's needs.
  • Drafted concept proposals and create 3D renders for presentation to clients in Sketchup Pro.
  • Collaborated closely with the workshop foreman to execute detailed shop drawings and millwork packages.
  • Researched and ordered materials and was responsible for product sourcing and staying within budget when purchasing materials.
  • Prepared technical drawings for use on CNC, with Fusion 360.
  • Collaborated closely with the owners to do market research and develop new products for Anthill's own product line, focusing on modular furniture solutions for small spaces.
  • Assisted with on-site photography and videography, edited images and footage with Lightroom, Photoshop and Premier.
  • Curated and posted images and content for social media, kept the company's website up to date, while maintaining the Anthill brand standard.
  • Assisted in the workshop with assembling, sanding, oiling, finishing and installing on-site.
