Worked in two 10-week programs as a Volleyball coach, helping kids boost their confidence, sportsmanship, communication and skills on the court. I provided the kids helpful feedback about things they could do to improve, and encouragement for things they were already doing great - with emphasis on ensuring all kids were included and helping them individually if they were struggling.
Cared for children from several families; created activities, prepared healthy snacks, (adjusting to their food allergies and preferences), cleaned up after meals and activities, always leaving the house the same or better than when I arrived.
Helped younger children learn to walk, guiding them through safe paths and encouraging them to keep trying.
Worked at “Spikezone” week long volleyball camp with several age groups at varying skill levels, helping to build confidence while ensuring fun was prioritized.
As a group leader, I helped the kids create cheers to present to other groups, and ran drills to develop skills throughout the week long experience.
