Hi, I am Sienna Lotta. These are some reasons why I would be and a amazing fit to be working this job! First off leadership, there are many attributes of having good leadership and learning to become a leader. The most important thing of all of being a leader I would say is leading itself but have never really ever been in charge of anything that I would consider a leadership position. Other than being in a class in middle school called leadership. Since I have seen some leaders first-hand and others worked with me on other stuff I learned a lot of what being a leader means Also, I know the meaning of teamwork very well, I played basketball now for 8 years, and still to this day I never get bored of it. Throughout those 8 years, I learned that meeting new people and gaining connections, with teammates, or opponents, and my coaches are so valuable. Basketball is not a me sport, it's a team sport that depends on a bit of individual work and a lot of teamwork. The best part about it is that when on the court or team hangouts I feel very connected to everyone and knowing that I'm not on my own gives me a sense of comfort. Knowing I can depend on them gives me a side of trust and less selfishness which a person with good leadership should have to lead. Along the lines of good leadership, I am very organized to some sort. I'm not perfect but I do know where things are, when they should be done, and how they should be done. In my experience of organizing, I’m pretty good at it. Due to my short memory, I tend to write everything down big or small. Over the years of doing that, I got a good rhythm, and now I realize how much more organized I am because of it. Another great quality I have is to be understanding, and kind. I believe that being a nice person is not that hard to be to others cause there's no reason to be mean to others. Understanding and stepping in someone's shoes or such is probably one of the most important things to me because no one wants to work with someone who won't hear them out if something goes wrong. As someone who has worked under people who understand this made me want to be there more. So I have the morals to have the type of person that anyone can come up to when they mess something up and they can come talk to because they are unafraid to. I have the ability to step into people's shoes and understand what's going on and maybe help them or give them advice. Overall I think I have some great qualities to achieve this position.
I worked over the summer at a camp as a Lifeguard at Leo Carrillo and this summer other than my babysitting duties I learned how to help other campers who need things or are too scared to do something and how to rephrase it to make it seem less scary and such on. I had a lot of hands-on experience with younger kids and felt like I was helping them but also leading them in a way to feel less scared and also connect with them on a more personal level.
