- I was responsible for the efficient operation of the radar, radio, electronic support, and electronic intelligence systems onboard the P8 Poseidon. I went through approximately 2 years of training that covered tactics, weapon systems, and crew resource management. Throughout my 4 years of flying (1257 hours) I coordinated with 8 other rotating crew members to effectively complete dozens exercises and real world missions. I conducted surface warfare, anti-submarine warfare, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations. When I was not flying I oversaw the wellbeing and daily task of up to 15 junior sailors. I attributed nearly 800 hours of training that led to the qualification and advancement of future electronic warfare operators. My leadership required task delegation, and maintaining high output under pressure.
