• In charge of maintaining and upgrading Metrolinx's data center network infrastructure.
• Maintaining and enhancing l3 network primarily in the data centers including route engineering and interfacing with service providers for MPLS and Edge connectivity.

• Deployed full redundancy HA Fortigate firewall configuration between two primary sites, redundant Cisco voice gateways and network monitoring and alerting system.
• Created necessary VPN infrastructure and registered Oshawa Power with IESO lighthouse program to bolster defense against cyber threats.

Enterprise Support:

• Performed day-to-day LAN and WAN administration, maintenance and support for main and remote sites.
• Planned, coordinated and implemented network security measures which involved configuration and maintenance of Fortigate firewall, Broadcom SGS proxy server and FortiNAC network access control.
• Configured and maintained Cisco and Ruggedcom switches which built up bulk of networking equipment on site.
• Monitored stability of network and wireless services to deliver comprehensive service and stability to site users.
• Created and maintained up to date network diagrams and documents for company sites.

• Product Quality : Collaborated with Siemens Ruggedcom software developers and security team for continual feature enhancements to L2/L3 switches and bug fixes.
• Level 3 Professional Services Support: Accountable for final support in customer/professional services escalations for Global Siemens Ruggedcom support.

• Deployed, supported and troubleshot network issues/outages within Northwestel's service area.
• Operated as primary support for Network Operations Control, Field Operations and Technical Support groups to resolve network issues.

• Worked on Cisco CMTS UBR 10K / 7K for troubleshooting cable internet problems and provisioning new cable modems to CMTS.
• Operated with ADSL technologies- Ericsson smart edge BRAS, troubleshooting and configuring ADSL connections.
