 Managed and overlooked United Nations Contract for Transportation of 2500 Metric Tonnes of Chickpeas from Canada to Syria.

 Identify logistics requirements to meet buyer contracts and specifications .

 Plan shipment schedule with other logistics coordinators and/or traders.

 Release railcars loaded at the cleaning plant upon receiving loading report .

 Trace released railcars and keep constant communication with railways .

 Track and dispute railcar demurrage with accounts.

 Communicate with Trading team and overseas offices on current shipping position and requirements for shipping .

 Obtain quotes, negotiate ocean freights and update in SF, indicate any ocean freight driven/destination based business opportunities or risks.

 Make bookings for ocean transportation.  Send Stuffing Instructions to transloaders.

 Coordinate with transloader and Freight Forwarder to execute transloading, trouble shoot as issue arise.

 Send B/L Instructions upon receiving stuffing instructions by documentation cut off.

 Track and dispute container detention fees .

 Railcar, Booking, Container entry .

 Report sales position to trade team.

 Follow up for CFIA sample submission sheet and ensure test results are negative before documentation team submits Phyto application.

• Order Raw material for animal feed from suppliers (Canada, U.S and Asia)
• Create Sales orders for all company customers
• Send RFQ’s to carriers, obtaining freight rates and awarding load to the respective Carrier
• Arrange pickup appointments and continuous follow-up with carrier for on time delivery
• Handle Import documentations for containers coming from Asia
• Generate Bill of lading (for domestic and U.S) and Customs documentation (for U.S)
• Inter-company and retail Invoicing through Sage software
• Update daily load information on Trello software
• Generate inventory reports on day to day basis.
