Over 6 years of experience in practicing immigration law and over 5 years of experience working in post-secondary international student services. Organized, detail-oriented, proficient at building and maintaining professional relationships with international students, faculty, staff and other community stakeholders. Focused on community sharing and collaborated closely with other campus departments, including the registration office and admission to develop processes and procedures in response to government requirements. Experienced in advising students with information on current immigration policy and regulatory requirements to ensure their success inside and outside of the classroom. Designed and presented international orientation, immigration workshops, and education field trips during each academic year. Proficient in using Microsoft Office and is flexible with meeting multiple project deadlines. Also, a member in good standing with CICC and is authorized under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act to consult students with regard to their immigration and visa applications.
