Over the years I have been employed in many aspects of Customer Service and Accounting. Beginning with a 2-year stint at Budget Rent-a-car call Centre I have also worked in the front lines of the Employment Insurance Department with the federal government for another two years before moving to their state-of-the-art call center until 1988 when I returned to Ontario. 3 seasons as a tax preparer with H&R Block. I spent the following 15 years raising my six children and performing locally as a musician in bands in the evenings. I returned to school in 2003 to upgrade my skills and graduated in 2005 having earned a Law Clerk Certificate. Unfortunately, my late husband became ill in 2011 and I chose to stay home with him and found working part-time delivering was a good fit, allowing me to make my own schedule around his increasing needs. Unfortunately, he did not recover. I recently moved to New Brunswick in 2022 and have set up a home office. I worked remotely with Blue Ocean Call Centers until October 2023 and left due to their loss if the Scene rewards contract. Though I loved Canada Life, I had contracted Long term Covid and was forced to leave my position. I have since recovered. I am fully bilingual. I am also well versed in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and Power Point as several legal programs. I have a keyboarding speed of 40-50.
