Participating in COR Audit Preparation & conducting Internal COR Audit
• Providing guidance and ensuring adherence to the Workers' Compensation Act, Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, company policies and regulations, Transport Canada regulations, as well as safe work practices and procedures within a unionized environment.
• Identify and resolve any unauthorized, unsafe, or ineffective practices.
• Preparing daily safety briefings for the crew, and participating in monthly toolbox meetings, and monthly management meetings.
• Report writing following any accident, illness, or near-miss.
• Submitting paperwork for occupational injuries to WorkSafeBC and following up with employees regarding Gradual Return to Work (GRTW) duties and accommodations.
• Managing crew profiles and daily timesheets.
• Assisted in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training team members.
• Conducting performance reviews and expectations of the crew.
