Since I was introduced to this field of study, I knew my passion would lead me toward a career in improving the health and vitality of those around me. The loss of my best friend to cancer in 2021 has been my driving force to propel this career choice further and acquire the knowledge and resources to heal others someday. Witnessing my friend's perceptual strength and courage throughout her battle inspired me to approach every challenge with grace and resilience.
I am a graduate of a licensed practical nursing degree over the span of 18 months. With over 700 hours of practical work experience within the healthcare field, I have acquired and mastered therapeutic communication, exceptional time management, and organization. I have effectively managed multiple tasks in a competent and engaging manner while prioritizing all aspects of patient health. Additionally, I have studied many Tony Robbins strategies and tools to understand psychology, which I believe is essential for a nurse. The allure of this career lies in the critical role one plays in the hierarchy of patient care. Despite the long hours, the opportunity to attend to patients' needs, often overlooked by time-burdened doctors, drives me toward this position. It's these moments with patients that reinforce my belief in the overwhelmingly satisfying nature of a career in nursing, devoid of burnout fears.
Having researched numerous job opportunities, I have determined that your company is the best fit for me, both personally and ethically. I have maintained a full and challenging academic schedule at the University of Fraser Valley, achieving high grades that have further prepared me for this endeavor. My dedication to excellence is evident in being awarded the "student of the month" accolade at Vancouver Career College and graduating from the program on the A honor roll.
I take my education seriously and pride myself on my academic abilities. Understanding that the Naturopathic program is strenuous, I embrace the challenge, believing that being out of one's comfort zone molds one’s abilities.
