Mr. Gregory is an accomplished veteran Police Lieutenant who had a distinguished career at the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). He was adept in personnel supervision and criminal investigation, fostering community relations and leading teams to enhance public safety. Mentored junior officers and was heavily involved in both recruit and in-service training programs throughout his entire career.
Mr. Gregory graduated from CSULB with a Bachelor's of Vocational Arts in Occupational Studies- Police Sciences Mr. Gregory has hands-on experience in adult education.
Mr. Gregory served for a time as the Officer-in-Charge of the Police Training and Education Division at the Los Angeles Police Academy, where he oversaw Curriculum Design and both in-service and recruit training and education programs fro the LAPD.
Mr. Gregory has over 20 years of experience as an in-service educator with the LAPD, teaching classes in Defensive Tactics, Investigative procedures, Criminology, Ethics, Leadership, and Interrogation Procedures.
Mr. Gregory is a California Police Officer Standards of Training (POST) Instructor who graduated from the Robert Presley Institute for Criminal Investigation (ICI) with a specialty in Burglary Investigation , Sex Crimes Investigations, and Interrogation and Interview Techniques. Mr. Gregory also graduated from the ICI Instructor Academy and taught ICI classes for many years.
Mr. Gregory is prepared to start career teaching the next generation of Criminal Justice professionals, and make is motivated to make meaningful contributions with commitment and drive.
