• I have worked on a medical/surgical unit for 12 years as well as a temporary line in endoscopy for 6 months.
• I work alongside a team of physicians and interdisciplinary to support patients care needs.
• I use critical thinking skills to conduct assessments and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Medication administration while monitoring signs and symptoms of adverse reactions.
• Provide mentorship with new grads.
• I implement care planning for a holistic view of the patient and their care needs.
• I work as a team on my unit with other nurses and support staff.
• I regularly work as the charge nurse on the unit. Supporting staff and facilitating conflict resolution.
• I seek out educational opportunities when available for professional development.
