Summary

As an occupational therapist with almost thirty years of experience, I can honestly say that I feel tremendously fortunate to be able to do what I do, and to have had a career that has allowed me to explore such a broad scope of opportunities.

In my OT role, I feel that I contribute best as a member of a team that includes interdisciplinary, patient, and family collaboration. I embrace opportunities to teach new skills, but I love that I am also constantly learning in this job, both from my colleagues and the clients I serve.

In recent years, I have had the opportunity to further expand my scope of practice from Early Intervention to working with adults in an outpatient program (amputees, orthopedic, complex neuro clients), and now working again with (older) kids in the school system.
