  • While working active front line duty for the first 4 years, participated in ongoing training opportunities to stay current on best practices. Maintained a high level of expertise within the field of law enforcement and other areas such as interrogation, high level drug investigations, and court proceedings.
  • Actively worked in T/A Sergeant position and Constable, managing squads in Recruit Training Section. Maintained organizational standards and provided guidance to training instructors and recruits during that time. Reported to upper management (Chief's Office) with case management and investigations regarding both recruits and squad instructors.
  • Provided training to incoming Training Section employees, while implementing team building squad events, cultivating positive employee relations with each other, as well as Police Recruits in-house.

  • Recruit Class Coordinator for several recruit classes of approximately 50-55 police recruits each, totaling approximately 500 EPS Police graduates. Instructed various areas of law enforcement, control tactics, firearms, and criminal law to police recruits.
