Supervised team of approximately 35+ workers in the plastic injection moulding production process of automotive interior components.
Supervised all aspects of manufacturing processes from raw moulding, Ultra-wrap / vacuum forming and laser trim, Hydrographic dipping, high/low gloss clear and paint line processing, to final assembly and pack/ship processes.
Brief daily responsibilities included; morning payroll data entry and adj’s, daily shipment/shortage requirements, verify on-hand component / inventory status via Plex/DayForce, cell leader briefing/meetings for task delegation and prioritizing, monitor production processes, hold 4D meetings (managers/supervisors, paint team, PE, quality, maintenance, shipping, etc), cell LPA audits, forklift/crane checks, paint line PM/maint checklists, locate any safety concerns and hazard ID’s, employee relations and concerns, problem solving, analyze ergonomic layouts and 1pc flow processes, gather daily production data and enter, produce supervisor production report and send to required email groups, enter shift-end payroll data, and communicate all shift issues/concerns to incoming supervisor for current facility/cell status.
Full manufacturing experience from incoming nylon and polypropylene pellets to mouldings processes, to finesse finishing and coatings, for all interior dash and door panels, to pillars and liners.
