Provide support to children on the spectrum, assist with behavioral concerns while working under the guidance of an Emotional behavioural Specialist
Plan and implement programs or strategies for children on the spectrum to help with learning in the classroom
Develop materials related to various programs/strategies determined by the specialist
Monitor the effectiveness of programs/strategies used
Monitor the progress of the children receiving support
Communicate and share information with the classroom team regarding planned programs/strategies
Work collaboratively with the TABT team, EBS, classroom team and Instructional Coaches to develop and implement programs/strategies to enhance learning and address behavioral concerns
De-escalate and manage major behaviors when children experience dysregulation
Implement NVCI when necessary
Offer coaching to EA's using knowledge, experience and expertise as a TABT
