Extracurricular

In my spare time I volunteer with Special Olympics NL as a head coach for 10 pin bowling, as well as an assistant coach for curling. I am an avid curling fan and do not miss a game, and I also enjoy playing guitar and singing a few tunes. I completed French immersion in high school but have not practiced it since so my French is rusty but I can communicate in French if need be.

  • Avid volunteer with Special Olympics St. John's for the past 5 years. I coach bowling, curling, bocce and golf. Last year, I got the chance to travel to Calgary with the NFLD provinical team for the National Special Olympics Games. Most recently, I became the fundraising chair for the St. John's committee.
  • I am a big curling fan! I skip my own team on tuesday evenings and never miss a game on TV if I can help it.
  • Animal lover. I have 2 cats, Max and Meredith who live a life of luxury.
