Objective
Motivated and compassionate individual entering the NAIT Veterinary Technology program in Fall 2025. Actively seeking volunteer opportunities to complete 40 hours of hands-on animal care experience by July 31 as part of program entry requirements. Strong interest in animal health, welfare, and clinical care, with a desire to learn foundational skills in a professional environment. Eager to contribute to a team while developing practical experience in feeding, cleaning, and handling animals with care and empathy.

I am committed to becoming a knowledgeable and empathetic veterinary professional by building a strong foundation through volunteering. I believe that hands-on experience is essential to understanding animal care, and I view every volunteer opportunity as a meaningful step toward my future in veterinary technology.

My goal is to develop practical skills while also learning how to support both animals and their owners with compassion and professionalism. I am enthusiastic about contributing to a team, learning from experienced staff, and growing through every task—whether it's cleaning enclosures, observing procedures, or simply comforting an anxious animal.
