  • As a Field Service Engineer my main goals were to travel to various customer facilities to respond to calls for service, make sure equipment works as designed, maintenance equipment and make any repairs needed. Work to develop customer relationships and capture leads for future service needs.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues reported by customers on LINET and other brands of hospital beds. Identify, isolate, and repair the failures. Order additional parts if necessary to complete repairs.

  • Perform routine maintenance on additional equipment such as; pumps, stretchers, cribs or any other equipment assigned to me.
  • Support the team’s needs by being re-routed out of my territory to help in other regions of the company at a moment’s notice. Travel out of state anywhere from 50-80% of the time. Drive up and down the state of California to different contracts as needed.

  • Adapt and be re-routed for the day to another contract as needed for business.
  • Responsible for keeping correct inventory of the parts I carry with me on a day-to-day basis and for keeping all tools necessary for performing the tasks and repairs.
