I like to think that I am organized and dependable and that I am successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.
I volunteered in my high school to work in the newly opened school workshop which included different types of machines, from woodwork machinery to laser cutters and 3d printers. Being in my senior year we had a lot of gaps in our schedule so volunteered in the workshop doing things like assisting the workshop lead, getting a chance to learn and observe new machinery operating, which gave me an insight about these machines when it came to my engineering courses in first year as we used these machines for projects. I was able to help younger students in their projects related to their design technology course as it was newly introduced to the school along with the workshop.
Swimming has always been a part of my life, starting from when my parents put me in water safety all the way until the current day. In different forms of course! for the majority of my life i was in competitive swimming teams training north of 12 hours a week and racing in nationwide and international swim meets. Post covid, our team had a shortage in staff and so I volunteered to take some sessions along with some of my senior teammates till the end of that season while the team looks for a coach to add to the coaching team. our senior squad was able to cover swimming sessions on different ability levels ranging from "learn how to swim" all the way to assisting coaches in some older more experienced swimmers.
