Volunteered at Mississauga Celebration Square, where I collaborated with community leaders, organizations, and public agencies to promote community events, attended by up to 10,000 people. Through the year worked over 50 hours with the organization helping with community events.

Directed Studies: Bird-Window Collisions at Carleton University

Carleton University

Monitored and collected data on bird-window collisions during the 2023 fall migratory season. Integrated existing data from Safe Wings to assess collision rates across campus buildings, aiming to inform targeted mitigation strategies. Results contributed to efforts in creating a bird-safe environment through implementation of preventative measure.

Group Research: Biological Forest Network

Carleton University

Analyzed forestry issues at Murphy Point using scientific literature, citizen science data, and community partner input. Evaluated and synthesized information applied project management principles and collaborated within a team to deliver solutions that would meet our community partner’s needs. Results were then presented in an engaging and accessible manor to a diverse audience.
