Work Projects

Mechatronics Project - Goof Ball, 01/2024 - 04/2024

  • Video Game & Controller, Crafted handmade maps and altered mechanics for a unique Flappy Golf-style gaming experience. Players navigate a character through obstacles using two physical buttons.
  • Utilized hardware components including: breadboard circuits, resistors, potentiometers, an LCD screen, and wiring. Arduino managed player inputs and LCD data, while MATLAB handled game logic and visuals.
  • Addressed design challenges such as sequencing issues, color representation, and button responsiveness. Optimized game update rate for smooth performance and conducted thorough testing to ensure functionality. Successfully delivered a fully functional game, fostering friendly competition among players.
  • The arcade-style game featured a high score to beat, resulting in enthusiastic reception and positive feedback from users. The project demonstrated proficiency in game development and hardware integration.

Design Project - Micro ROV3Di, 09/2023 - 12/2023

  • Collaborated with colleagues in design meetings and surveys to create the Micro ROV3Di, a new underwater inspection device.
  • Completed the project within three months and met the specified deadline, despite a project delay of two weeks that required immediate attention.
  • Utilized SolidWorks to effectively model, assemble, and draw tool components for manufacturing and documentation purposes. As the lead designer on the project, the product is scheduled to be manufactured in the first quarter of 2024.
