-Started out with roadside assistance. Helping with breakdowns, booking 3rd party vendors, tracking pms, processing paperwork

-Working with Operations to meet their needs for the equipment and time lines for 3rd party's to get repairs completed

-Review and approve estimates up to 10k then sending to Operations for approval once the estimate is satisfactory

-Assist Team members when needed with troubleshooting

-Work flexible hours for vacation coverage when needed

-Assist Manager with certain projects and follow ups on equipment repair progress

-Build VRO's, issue po's and complete sections as needed

-Keep parts room stocked with required parts.

-Understands the schedule and what parts are necessary to accomplish the schedule through parts workstation.

-Order special order parts.

-Issuing and paying PO's.

-Review RO's and ensure parts are charged out.

-Complete cycle counts.

-Identify and return obsolescent inventory.

-Complete core returns and process credits.

-Manage min and max points.

-Manage shop supplies.

-Perform semi annual inventory counts

-Complete Misc charge outs.

-Keep inventory levels within company directive.

-Work with techs on parts issues.

-Assisted Foreman when needed with booking in work and maintaining the workflow

-Ensure personnel are paid properly and overtime hours are closely monitored.

-Ensure shop personnel are properly trained and equipped to perform the required tasks.

-Develop leaders and build team onsite.

Equipment

-Coordinate the maintenance of all company and customer equipment.

-Manage maintenance programs to meet the specialized needs of equipment and hauling requirements.

-Maintain the equipment and facility in a safe and proper working order.

-Maintain knowledge of current equipment specifications and maintenance practices.

-Manage and control shop inventory, performing inventory audits as required.

-Monitor daily usage and the purchase of parts and supplies.

-Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner through regular interaction and observation of work

-Maintain all records of maintenance and testing to meet regulatory requirements.

During this period of my career, I was asked to perform many duties. I was Shop Supervisor at Fort McKay Hammerstone shop. I was sent to our Yorkton branch to help train some techs that came over from Jamaica. I had a key role in setting up our Sundre, AB branch. I was asked to go to Dawson Creek to help the Service Manager at that branch. When Edmonton didn't have a Service Manager I was asked to fill in on a week on/week off basis with the Area Manager. I was asked to go to Prince George to help train the shop foreman when the Service Manager and Parts person both left at the same time.
