6 Months- I am a longtime volunteer with Higher Ground, working to make sure that struggling families in our local communities can feel safer with shelter, food and other comfort necessities.
- Implemented a completely new system revolving around maternal and pediatric care items.
- Organized logistics for the "Non-Gala" to ensure a successful high-attendance event.
RAD Camp Counselor
7 Months- Worked 1:1 with people aged from 3-25 years old with cognitive and behavioral disabilities
- Facilitated daily activities and crafts for campers, promoting engagement and creativity.
- Assisted in implementing safety protocols and ensuring a secure environment for all participants.
- Supported campers' individual needs through personalized attention and encouragement.
- Collaborated with team members to develop inclusive programs accommodating diverse abilities.
President of Pediatric Wellness Alliance
7 Months- I am currently the President of a newly founded club at Canyon High School called Pediatric Wellness Alliance.
- We are educating our peers at Canyon on neonatal diseases, postnatal illness, and proper nutrition for both the baby and mother.
- We hope to also create fundraising and maybe even set up a volunteering doula program.
Canyon Ambassador
11 Months- Representing Canyon in many ways, whether that be in being spirited at events, being academically driven, outgoing with others, and volunteering at Canyon affiliated events.
- Mentored a group of 6 freshmen who are still close with and interact with at least once a week.
- Attend all Canyon affiliated events like sport events, pep rallies, and working late for Back to School meetings.
Athlete
2 Years 2 Months- A current athlete for the 17-1 NOC club volleyball team.
- Played for the number 1 team for our club’s age division since fifteen years old.
- Placed 5th in the nation at AAU Nationals in the Summer of 2025.
- Taking down big name clubs while also fighting against social media, constantly coined as the ‘underdogs’.
Beyond Blindness Counselor
- Worked 1:1 with children aged from 3-10 years old who were diagnosed with cognitive or physical disabilities.
- Predominately worked with the blind school for the duration of this camp, learning to navigate, understand and connect to people who I would not normally have the chance to connect to.
- Collaborated with other group members in order to ensure that our campers were safe and having fun.
- Worked with a cognitively disabled group of kids for 4 days, and then worked with the blind school for a week.
Groundswell Leadership Institute
- Learned key techniques and tips for public speaking.
- Focused on being able to speak for others who might not have a voice in local communities.
- Advocate and fight for better causes in local communities.
- Understood and worked on building connections and relationships with other people.
Salesman Internship
1 Month- Developed deep product knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries and drive sales conversations.
- Collaborated with team members to ensure optimal inventory management and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated adaptability by learning new sales techniques and integrating feedback from senior staff.
