Reporting to the Board, the Operations Manager oversees and manages the general operations and infrastructure of Cultural Festivals including, but not limited to, financial and operations management, coordination of volunteer committees and paid staff, marketing, and public relations. The Operations Manager implements the organization's vision and strategic plan. With the ultimate goal of producing one of Swift Currents premier festivals and tourist attractions.
This organization, having recently been through Covid-19 had been running into financial and operational trouble. It was paramount that the Operations Manager would resolve the financial issues while preparing & hosting the 2024 events.
The SaskPower Windscape Kite Festival and the Long Days Night Music Festival hosted almost 7000 in June of 2024. Through my efforts as well as the unity of the team around me, the organization is back on it's feet and looking forward to our next season!
