I have been working with trees since 1995 , with 10 years of silviculture experience in B.C. running large reforestation camps and crews.
Since 2007 I have been a practicing certified Arborist in the GVRD, focused on the promotion of proper tree selection, planting and maintenance. I have also been a certified tree risk assessor since 2009, providing basic and advanced tree assessments and detailed reports to a variety of residential, municipal and commercial clients.
I have more than 15 years experience working with the public and numerous organizations and professionals providing sound advice and an understanding of local tree bylaws, helping hundreds of clients navigate these processes throughout the lower mainland.
My training background is a science based approach, which includes diagnosing and treating a variety of biotic and abiotic disorders, diseases as well as a true IPM (Integrated Pest Management) background.
I also have 20 years of proper tree and shrub pruning and planting experience, as well as non invasive tree climbing experience.
