
Served 20 Active Duty years in the United States Air Force; 7 years as a Fighter Aircraft mechanic, 13 as a Loadmaster. C-17 Airdrop, Instructor, Evaluator while graduating from the Air Force's two premiere schools: the Weapon School and Test Pilot School and qualifying to resupply National Science Foundation bases on Antarctica. Led forces during 6 combat deployments to the Afghanistan/Iraq conflicts while training multiple foreign partners abroad along with integration amongst major U.S. aviation & technology companies (Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Dahlgren, Northrup, L3, etc.). Skilled in high-tempo/stress environments while maintaining professionalism. Pursuing leadership and management roles/responsibilities while furthering higher education.
Serves as the sole full-time enlisted member of a 65-person Contingency Response Squadron, overseeing day-to-day operations and key readiness & training programs. While exercising or deployed, serves as the lead Operations Expeditor - directing airfield operations, base building, and logistical coordination to enable rapid global mobility.
Directed flight test operations for 110 Active Duty, Reserve, and Civilian aircrew members; including Pilots, Loadmasters, In-Flight Refueling Specialists, Records Managers, Test Engineers, Program Managers, Special Instrumention Operators, and Contractors. Performed experimental tests and annual quality assurance evaluations on other aircrew members. Oversaw the scheduling and operations of six different Air Force airframes and an annual budget of $47M.
Filled critical leadership position left vacant by retiree. Led 322 member Test Squadron through 30 of the Air Forces' highest visibility test programs and 990 flight hours. Advised Commander on planning, programming, training, health, and welfare of all members assigned. Oversaw $5.7M C-17 and KC-46 fleet upgrades.
Responsible for training, deployability, and welfare of 8 member elite test team. Selectively hired 2 Airmen and guided and mentored the team through medium and high risk tests involving 4 different aircraft types.
Led the Squadron's largest section (19 personnel) in developing and administering flight training and development for 121 members. Planned and executed three foreign and joint exercises in India, South Korea, and Australia over 3 months in duration and comprised of 750 participants.
